Uzbekistan Visa Requirements

For either a business or tourist visa, the Uzbekistan Embassy and Consulates require the following:

  • A valid passport for at least 6 months, and a blank page to stamp the visa;
  • Photocopy of passport's data page
  • Invitation letter
  • Two passport-size photo no more than 6 months old;
  • Completed Uzbekistan visa application form;
  • Visa fee (casher's checks, certified check or money orders accepted);
  • a self-addressed prepaid return envelope with postage (FedEx or US Express Mail);

Uzbekistan travel visas are affixed in your passport on the pages specifically marked for them. Some countries require that visa stamps be placed on those pages that do not contain any other stamps.

U.S. citizens must pay $160 for regular processing of visa. For expedited processing, $240 must be paid.

Heading to Uzbekistan for business? You'll need a business visa. The consular services issues both multiple-entry and single-entry business visas upon confirmation received by the Embassy from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Besides the documents listed above, you also need a written request for issuance of visa must be submitted by the inviting organization in Uzbekistan (Government office, Embassy or representative office, etc.) to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
