Reno Passport Offices

There are only a few places in Reno where American citizens can submit applications for new passports. Most require an appointment. We recommend you only visit an acceptance facility without an appointment if you are unable to contact them by phone. Expect to wait 4 to 6 weeks to receive your passport. If you request expedited service, you should get it in 2 to 3 weeks. It is possible to get a passport faster by applying at a regional agency. The closest agencies are located in Los Angeles and San Francisco. An appointment is required.

Those who are unable to personally visit one of the regional agencies can employ the services of a registered courier.
