You can choose between routine processing and expedited service when applying at an acceptance facility. Routine service is estimated to take 6 to 8 weeks. Expedited processing, which requires the payment of $60 more, takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete.
You can schedule and appointment at the Dallas Passport Agency if your departure date is within 14 days. Regional agencies attend to U.S. citizens whose departure date is fourteen days or less away or who need to get a travel visa within that time.
