The Miami Passport Agency helps U.S. citizens get a passport fast when they have urgent international travel. You may qualify for an appointment if you are traveling within 14 calendar days or need a foreign visa within 28 calendar days. You can visit this agency to be issued a same-day passport in Miami in some cases, but service is by appointment only.

To apply at the Miami Passport Agency, you must bring a completed passport application, proof of U.S. citizenship, valid photo ID, passport photo, printed proof of international travel, and payment for all required fees, including the $60 expedite fee. Walk-ins are not accepted.

  • Passport application form: Be sure to bring the correct application for your situation. Have it filled in. You can sign the renewal form but do not sign Form DS-11 until you are at your appointment.
  • Government-issued photo ID: A driver's license is most common, but several other ID options are accepted.
  • Required supporting documents: Bring the originals required for your application and the required photocopies, including citizenship evidence and photo ID when applicable. Name-change, parental-consent, custody, or other documents may also be required for your situation.
