Found my lost Passport
by: Bren

Question: I recently left my passport on board a flight. I reported it to the airline. As I didn't hear from them in the first week I reported my passport as lost and have applied for a new one. The airline then sent me my original passport. I would like to know where to send it to ensure that it does not go against my multiple lost products. Can I get confirmation that it has been received? Any help is appreciated.

Answer: Passports that are reported as lost are immediately cancelled. You can either keep the passport as a momento or mail it in for destruction. If you want a record, you can request Signiture Confirmation via USPS.
