He is on child support but isn’t paying. I need help on what kind of documents I need to get a passport for them so we can travel to Mexico without the absent parent present. Thank you in advance. Answer: You may submit Form DS-5525 for each child and explain the situation in as much detail as possible. Submit these with the rest of the requirements. Note, however, that applications of this nature are processed on a case by case basis. There is a chance that the applications will be denied. Providing evidence of your efforts to contact the father for consent will increase your chances of approval.
