Looking for Arizona passport services? Citizens of the United States who reside in Arizona can obtain a passport through the following three means.
Regular processing takes 4 to 6 weeks or more. A request for expedited services through a passport office can get your application processed in 2 to 3 weeks. For faster service, see the options below.
You can schedule a visit to the Western Passport Center in Tucson if you plan to travel, or need to submit your passport for foreign entry visas, within fourteen days. This is the fastest way to get a passport other than applying through a professional expediting service.
The requirements are the same as if applying at an acceptance facility. They include a completed application, valid photo ID, copy of ID, evidence of U.S. citizeship and a passport-style picture. The application fee for a new passport is $110 (adult) and $80 (minor). The fee for expedited processing is $60. There is also an execution fee of $25.
United States passport expediters are registered with the State Department in order to represent applicants who require fast passport service but are unable to personally visit the regional processing center. If you have an emergency which requires you get a passport within 14 days or less but cannot get to the agency yourself, employing a passport expediting service may be your only solution. Expediters can get same day passports if needed.
It is not necessary that the expediting service be located in Arizona. In fact, the expediter may be required to submit your application at a different processing center other than the one in Tucson since each agency has a limit to the number of same day passports that they process in a day. Since the expediter we recommend has offices in several major U.S. cities, they can send your application through the agency that will get your application processed the fastest.
