My Family Trip to Belek, Turkey

From the airport in Moscow to the airport in Antalya followed by a transfer, we found ourselves in an excellent hotel called Adora Golf Resort located in Belek, Turkey. My family consists of my wife, son, daughter and myself.

Immediately after leaving the bus, we were greeted by the wonderful smell of eucalyptus. The hotel is surrounded by eucalyptus, not to mention other greenery. We liked the hotel staff. Attractions of hotel is the animator Balu. This is a very cheerful person. Beautiful beach, great food, wonderful sea views. But enough to advertise the hotel. Our trip had more interesting moments.

The next day we boarded a bus in the village of Kadriye and went to Antalya. There we rented a car ($ 25 per day, Fiat Albea, diesel). In Turkey, it is better to take diesel cars because fuel is expensive. And in the car returned to the Adora Golf Resort. Driving a car in Turkey is very comfortable. All important places have marked pointers. It was a funny story: I accidentally turned on one-way traffic in the wrong direction - and at the end of the road was a policewoman, she looked at me wearily and turned to the side - "stupid tourists".

The next day we went to Antalya, in the old city on the tour. There's a lot of ancient buildings belonging to the Greek period. Very pleasant atmosphere. There is also a beautiful waterfall - Lower Duden. Water falls from a great height into the sea.

A few days later we went to the Köprülü Canyon. Wow, that was great. The road to the canyon passes through picturesque places. On the river, which flows through the canyon, you can go rafting. However, we did not risk it (children, the water was cool). The canyon was wonderfully beautiful. A local resident suggested that we get a guided tour for $10. The guide led us along the edge of the canyon and pointed out remarkable places.

Also, we made a trip to Pamukkale. We left early in the morning and drove through the mountain passes. It's funny: I was wearing a shirt with short sleeves and shorts; high enough in the mountains we needed to fill the car around the snow lay; a gas station employee came out clad a warm jacket and hat, and looked at me like I was crazy. Way took about 4 hours.

Pamukkale is a snow-white miracle. Water and calcium salts have created a sample of natural architecture. We arrived before the bus excursions and there were a few people. The surface of the mountain shines white light. Pamukkale is like a candle. Around is the deafening silence and only streams of water can be heard.

At the top of Pamukkale is the pool of Cleopatra. We bathed in it. At the bottom of the pool are huge Greek columns. The water in the pool is sparkling.

At approximately 7:00 pm we returned to our hotel in Belek. For two days we rested at the hotel, swam in the sea and lying on the beach.

In the following days, we went to the Kursunlu waterfall and visited the Ancient City of Perge. These are the great attractions of Antalya.

The town of Side is very interesting as well. On the way back from Side, we stopped at the local market. There you can buy delicious local produce like rahat lokum. It is much tastier than the store-bought variety.

Two weeks passed quickly. We did not want to leave Turkey.
