Question: We travel extensively - our passports run out in 2 and 5 years, but we have only 2 blank pages left. How blank pages are necessary?
Answer: It depends on which countries you plan to visit. Some countries require only one
blank visa page while countries require more. Some countries require your passport have two (2) to four (4) blank visa/stamp pages. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.
If you have less than 2 to 4 blank visa pages in your passport book, you need to apply for a
renewal.
The U.S. Department of State no longer issues additional visa pages. This service has been discontinued to enhance the security of U.S. Passports and to adhere to international passport standards.
