How do I my expired passport back once I submit it with my renewal?

Question: How do I get the stamps back on my expired passport once I submit it with my renewal? I would like to have the stamps from the countries I traveled to back once I receive my new passport.

Answer: Your current passport will be returned to you along with the renewed one. They are usually sent separately in the mail so one may arrive before the other.

Note, you cannot renew a passport that was issued more than 15 years ago or one that was issued when you were a minor. For a complete list of criteria, click the link below.
