Will it be a problem traveling out of the country if my passport birth year does not match my license birth year?

Question: My passport birth year does not match my license birth year. Will this be a problem traveling out of country?

Answer: The information on your passport should match that on your license. However, rarely do you need to present your driver's license when entering a foreign country so it is likely that no agent would know the difference.

Having said that, you do run the risk of being denied entrance if, per chance, an agent does request additional photo ID.

To avoid this risk, we recommend you change the document which has the incorrect information. If that is your driver's license, you can visit the nearest DMV office to do this.
