Where is my passport with the extra Visa pages?

Question: I mailed the passports for myself and my husband to get extra visa pages. My U.S. Postal Service Confirmation receipt says I mailed it on April 6th and you received it on April 8. Today is April 20. Should I be worried that I haven't received them back yet?

Question: Routine passport service, including added visa pages, takes 4 to 6 weeks. Unless you made a written request for expedited service and paid the $60 for this, then your passports will not arrive for another 2 to 4 weeks.

If you did request expedited service, then they should arrive within a week or so.
