Washington Passport Acceptance Facility List

A total of 168 passport offices currently operate in the state of Washington. There is at least one passport acceptance facility available in each county. You are only required to apply at a passport office if need to obtain a new passport. Note that many passport offices have limited operating hours and some require an appointment so be sure to call before you make the trip.

You can apply by mail for renewals, most name change requests and additional visa pages. If you are in a rush to get your travel document, you can request expedited service or make an appointment at the Seattle passport agency. The agencies only see travelers who have a departure date within 14 days or within 28 days if a visa is required for travel.

Whether for convenience or necessity, you can contract a private expediter who can obtain your passport in as little as 24 hours. For emergency situations, apply for rush passport service.
