Mailed my application for renewal but forgot to include check-what do I do?

Question: Forgot to include my check for passport renewal-can I mail in?

Answer: A passport renewal application DS-82 that is submitted with either no fee or incorrect fees are returned to the applicant without processing and should be resubmitted. Please do not send a check but wait for the application to be returned to you.
