Is there some type of "No Fee" form for renewing a No Fee Passport?

Federal Govt employee, current PP expires in Jul 2010. Cannot find anything specific addressing this here or at the State Dept. Thanks.

Form DS-82: Application for a Passport Renewal by Mail states, the following in the section: NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR OFFICIAL, DIPLOMATIC, OR NO–FEE PASSPORTS.

"You may use this application if you meet all of the provisions listed on Instruction Page 2, however you must CONSULT YOUR SPONSORING
AGENCY FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON PROPER ROUTING PROCEDURES BEFORE FORWARDING THIS APPLICATION. Your completed passport will be released to your sponsoring agency for forwarding to you."

After researching the issue further, it appears that each government agency has its own procedures that employees must follow in order to obtain and/or renew an official passport. It also seems that each agency has what is called either an Agency Travel Coordinator or an Internal Agency Travel Policy Coordinator. This is the person with whom you should speak.
