Is there any complication for renewal of US Passport which was issued in foreign country?

Question: About 10 years ago our passports (mine and my wife's)were stolen in Nice, France. Our replacement passports were then issued at the US Consulate in Marseille, France on November 16, 2000 and will expire November 15, 2010.

These passports do not have bar codes, they are the old "perforated number" type. Question: Do we have any problem to renew these passports, either at the Philadelphia Regional Office or by one of the on-line renewal services? Please advise.
