Is there a Thailand consulate in Texas?

by Phil
(Cebu City, Philippines)

Question: I am going to Austin, Texas soon and want to get a 2-month tourist visa to Thailand. Is there a Thai consulate that I can go to in either Dallas or Houston?

Answer: There is a Thai consulate in Houston where you can apply for a visa to Thailand. Note, citizens of the United States can enter Thailand without a visa for up to 30 days. This only applies to travelers who will enter for tourism.

If you require a visa, you need to call the consulate to make an appointment. Here is the information.

If you prefer, you can employ the services of a visa expediting service. Fees start at only $55 so it may be worth it to not have to travel to Houston. Click the link below for more information.
