How do I speed up my passport application?

Question: I am leaving out of the country on Wednesday and just realized I do not have a US Passport....Is it possible for me to obtain one by Tuesday or Wednesday in time for my flight??

Question: It is possible. You have two options. One, you can visit the nearest regional passport agency. The State Department website claims that you have to have an appointment but many travelers have been allowed to submit applications without one, especially those in situations such as yourself.
