Question: I took digital photos with a light green background. Is this okay?
Answer: The State Department requires all passport photos to have a white or off-white background. Photos with a light green background would be rejected and cause a delay in the processing of your application. Problems with passport photos is one of the primary reasons for delays. Please refer to the list of requirements.
