Question: I am traveling to India on a Cunard world cruise. I am seeking a visa to India. If I submit my my request for a visa today, I will not get my passport back from the India embassy before I sail on January 13, 2011. If I send to the India embassy a duplicate passport, it will allow me to travel and pick up my passport while at sea.
